Free 3D printing services available for all ATSU students
Posted: July 15, 2026
Welcome to campus! As highlighted on social media and in recent campus emails, A.T. Still University offers free 3D printing of medical and dental models to all students. This rapidly growing service is a massive success across our campuses—last year alone, the 3D print team produced over 10,000 models for students and faculty.
Whether you are looking for a starter kit to jumpstart your studies or a highly detailed anatomical model, the library has you covered.
How to Order Your 3D Models
1. Visit the Website: Head over to the library’s 3D printing guide at guides.atsu.edu/3Dprinting.
2. Browse the Gallery: Check out the regularly updated catalog of available prints. Note: All models are printed in an ivory finish, making them perfect for customization. You can easily mark them for study using clear primer and acrylic paints.
3. Submit Your Request: Click on the 3D order form, fill out your information, and choose your prints. If you aren’t sure what you need, look for the convenient starter kits. Orders can be placed at any time throughout the academic year.

4. Be Mindful of Restrictions: Please note that certain models may have printing restrictions, and some complex models will require self-assembly.
