ATSU-KCOM student elected to Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons Board of Trustees
Posted: September 29, 2022A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) student Nathaniel Bledsoe, OMS II, was recently elected to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) Board of Trustees.
Bledsoe was one of two new student trustees sworn in by MAOPS President Elisa Vinyard, DO, in Sept. 2022. As an ATSU-KCOM representative, Bledsoe will help promote the organization’s mission and commitment to the osteopathic profession.
Established in 1897, MAOPS is a member-driven professional organization that aims to preserve and advance the distinct philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine. MAOPS also advocates for the osteopathic profession at local, state, and federal levels, and provides educational resources and opportunities for osteopathic physicians.
