ATSU-KCOM alumnus named 2022 AOF Outstanding Resident in Addiction Medicine

A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) alumnus Jasser Khairallah, DO, ’18, has been named the 2022 Outstanding Resident of the Year in Addiction Medicine by the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF).

Dr. Khairallah graduated from ATSU-KCOM in 2018 and completed a residency in family medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, where he was also the recipient of a REACH Research Fellowship.

Currently, he is a fellow in the Addiction Medicine program at Stanford University. Dr. Khairallah is also in the process of obtaining his master of jurisprudence in health law at Loyola University Law School.

Throughout Dr. Khairallah’s education and professional career, he has focused on topics such as opioid use disorder in minority patients and addiction treatment barriers.
