Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program, and Ivonne Maldonado de La Rosa, PhD, MS, CCC-SLP, assistant professor, were authors of two articles published earlier this year by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
“Smells From the Kitchen, Lessons From the Field, Part 1: Creative Dysphagia Strategies,” and “Smells From the Kitchen, Lessons From the Field, Part 2: Creative Connections in Dysphagia Care,” were published on Leader Live, the digital component of ASHA’s news magazine, The ASHA Leader.
The articles explore innovative approaches to dysphagia care and patient treatment in both Puerto Rico and Arizona.
