ATSU-ASHS SLP instructor elected as treasurer of Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program instructor Ivonne Maldonado de La Rosa, PhD, MS, CCC-SLP, has been named as treasurer of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ArSHA)

As the state’s professional association for speech, language, and hearing professionals, ArSHA works to empower Arizona’s audiologists and speech-language pathologists through advocacy, leadership, and professional development. 

Dr. Maldonado de La Rosa also serves on the board of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Hispanic Caucus, and as the faculty advisor for ATSU’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter.

As board treasurer, Dr. Maldonado de La Rosa will serve a two-year term, ending on June 30, 2025.
