ATSU-ASHS’ Dr. McLeod speaks at national virtual media briefing

Tamara Valovich McLeod, PhD, ATC, FNATA, chair and director of A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Athletic Training department, was a featured panelist during a national virtual media briefing presented by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
Dr. McLeod, joining an internationally recognized panel of medical experts, co-hosted the briefing, “Paving the Way Forward in Concussion Care: New & Updated Guidelines,” on March 26, 2024.
The briefing announced that NATA has updated its 2014 position statement on sport-related concussions to reflect the latest evidence, and served as a platform to discuss these updated recommendations with a team of experts.
