ATSU-ASDOH hosts inaugural Dental Home Day, serving approximately 70 patients

A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) hosted its inaugural Dental Home Day on Sept. 26, 2026, welcoming approximately 70 patients of varying ages who face financial barriers to dental care. The community outreach event provided needed dental treatment while helping establish a dental home for continued care.
Patients received a range of services, including extractions, restorations, endodontic care, cleanings, radiographs, and removable prosthodontic treatment. Students from all four ATSU-ASDOH cohorts participated, working alongside faculty, staff, alumni, and community dentists to support patient care. The event also gave students opportunities to collaborate across class years and gain experience in a community-based setting.
Dental Home Day reflects ATSU-ASDOH’s commitment to improving access to oral healthcare for underserved populations while preparing students to serve their communities.
