ASDOH alumni reception held following ADA Annual Session
Posted: November 5, 2013A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) alumni, students, faculty, and friends connected after the American Dental Association (ADA) Annual Session in New Orleans on Nov. 2 to hear from ATSU-ASDOH Dean Jack Dillenberg and Timothy Oh, DMD, ’08, ASDOH Alumni Chapter Board Chair. Updates included:
- The Center for Advanced Oral Health opened over the summer on the Mesa campus, providing advanced care dental services to patients around the Phoenix area. Opportunities to support the Center are still available, including being recognized on the donor wall for a commitment of $200 every year for five years. For more information, please contact Trish Beré, senior director of development.
- Another meaningful way to support the growing programs at ATSU-ASDOH is to sponsor a student’s white coat. For more information and to contribute, click here.
- ATSU’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health just celebrated its grand opening last month and welcomed its first class of 42 students to the brand new Interprofessional Education Building in Kirksville, MO. Students will spend two years in Kirksville, followed by full immersion in a community health setting in St. Louis their last two years.
- The talent of ATSU-ASDOH graduates and students is being recognized by the ADA and influencing curriculum at dental schools around the country. A school is only as strong as its alumni, thus we encourage alumni to stay connected with one another and continue growing this network of invaluable resources.
