Summer 2019 Missouri campus library news
Posted: August 16, 2019
The Missouri campus library has had an eventful early summer, adding a large number of new books and e-books, anatomical models, furniture, study tools, and more. We are very pleased to welcome back our continuing and new students and are looking forward to a new academic year.
Visit the library to find these new things, further described in other stories:
- Bicycle desks (1st floor)
- Adjustable standing desks (basement)
- Bean bags (basement)
- A variety of movement-focused study furniture (both floors)
- New reading and print textbooks (1st floor)
- New collection of games for study (1st floor)
- New anatomical models and skeletons (1st floor)
We have added a number of new student workers, and you will meet them working at the library’s circulation desk.
Our weekend staffing is changing: long-time front desk library staffer Carlo Caroli will now be working on Sundays, with student staff available during the rest of the open weekend hours.
We are also in the process of seeking and hiring a new research and student support librarian, who will act as librarian liaison to A.T Still University’s (ATSU) Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as working with the rest of ATSU’s community.
The Missouri campus library is also delighted to announce that it was again awarded a grant to add to our collection of anatomical models, and another to host and develop a display and event to highlight waterways of the U.S.
Come visit us to meet our new faces and explore our new resources, or just to say hello! We hope that the library will continue to be an integral part of your academic experience in this new year.
