Stephen Blood, D.O., FAAO,’68 visits Arizona Campus

On June 11, first-year SOMA students participated in a lab with guest presenter Stephen Blood, D.O., FAAO,’68, as a part of their instruction in osteopathic principles and practice (OPP). His presentation included presentations entitled “The Cranial Concept” and “Diagnosis and Treatment of Hip Dysfunction,” which stressed, among other things, the interrelated nature of structure and function in the body.
Dr. Blood, a KCOM alumnus, has practiced for 40 years in Alexandria, Va., and has written and spoken extensively on osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) in the treatment of injuries.
