SOMA grad appointed chief resident at UMKC Truman Medical Center

Jackie Price, DO, MBA, SOMA ’11, has been appointed as a chief resident in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC), Truman Medical Center.

In her role as one of three chief residents appointed, she will facilitate communication between residents and faculty and oversee the functioning of the residents with the program. Dr. Price will also assume the responsibility of providing educational leadership and being a role model for other residents, represent residents’ interests and serve as a spokesperson in relation to any other person or group.

UMKC Family Medicine is one of the largest residency programs in the country with 42 residents, and three fellowships in geriatric medicine, sports medicine, and surgical OB.
