Snider recognized for zealous research

Karen Snider, D.O., KCOM OMM acting chair, was named a co-recipient of the 2011 Sigma Xi Researcher of the Year Award. Dr. Maria Nagan of Truman State University also received the award.
Dr. Snider was selected by the Kirksville Chapter of Sigma Xi for her recent outstanding accomplishments in scientific research and was nominated by her peers. A formal awards presentation will take place in Spring 2011.
