SHM celebrates graduation

A.T. Still University’s School of Health Management held its 10th annual graduation ceremony Saturday, Sept. 8, at Ophelia Parrish Performance Hall on Truman State University’s campus in Kirksville, Mo.

A total of 133 online students earned masters or doctoral degrees. Forty-three men and 90 women, representing 36 states, the District of Columbia, and two Canadian provinces, received degrees in health education, health administration, public health, or public health with a dental emphasis. For many students, this was their first visit to Kirksville.  Stephen Wilson Wyatt, DMD, dean, College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky, gave the commencement address.

“If serving others gets your attention, if a career worth counting is in your direction, I am confident in your destination,” said Dr. Wyatt.
