PA alumni and students gather at ASAPA conference
Posted: March 10, 2016
• ASHS concluded the celebration of its 20th anniversary last December, and the University is looking forward to celebrating its 125th anniversary next year. Dr. Danielsen acknowledged that ASHS owed its success to the strong students and graduates in all the programs. He thanked alumni and students for helping ATSU become the leader in health professions education it is today. • The PA program continues to focus more on community health, with half of each class now rotating at seven clinical campuses around the country every year. • All graduates who are preceptors and take the time to train ATSU PA students were acknowledged. If you are interested in serving as a preceptor, please contact Tessa Tibben, ’08, director of clinical education. • Another alumni and students reception will be held at the American Academy of Physician Assistants conference in May.
