“I’m honored to serve as the spokeswoman for Text2Floss and PH2OH,” said Hyman. “I’ve dedicated my life to healthy, active living and I’m excited to be part of this initiative to educate individuals on the importance of maintaining good oral health, and its connection to overall health.”
Hyman also serves as senior assistant coach for Arizona State University’s swimming program and offers personalized coaching in Arizona and nationwide. As a motivational speaker, Hyman inspires individuals from all backgrounds on important issues such as health and wellness, teamwork, innovation and leadership and how to overcome and conquer obstacles.
“Misty embodies what ATSU and ASDOH promote – whole person health, community engagement, and innovation,” said ATSU-ASDOH Dean Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH. “She achieved her swimming goals and won an Olympic gold medal through desire and hard work and she represents the spirit of ATSU-ASDOH as an ambassador for health and wellness. I’m also happy to note that we were able to obtain Misty as spokeswoman though the support of generous donations.”
