New faculty settles in at ATSU-KCOM

Four new faculty members have settled in at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM), including alum, Jonathon Kirsch, DO, ’96.
Dr. Kirsch, who formerly taught in and chaired the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine department at A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Arizona (ATSU-SOMA), joined the ATSU-KCOM team as an assistant professor in April, focusing on neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Suhail Akhtar, PhD, joined ATSU-KCOM as an assistant professor of biology in June. Dr. Ahktar received his PhD from Aligarh University in India.
Patricia Lodato, PhD, received her PhD from the University of Chile and joined ATSU-KCOM as an assistant professor of biology in June.
Shanu Markand, PhD, received her degree from Medical College of Georgia and joined the ATSU-KCOM team as an assistant professor of anatomy in July.
