Missouri Coalition for Oral Health chooses French as president
Posted: July 21, 2011Michael French, co-director of A.T. Still University’s Area Health Education Centers Program at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, was elected president of the Missouri Coalition for Oral Health (MCOH) at its membership meeting held in Columbia, Mo., on June 17. MCOH is a statewide organization whose mission is to “improve oral health for all Missourians through public awareness and sound public policy.” Among the organizational partners in the Coalition are the Missouri Primary Care Association, Missouri Dental Association, Missouri Dental Hygienists Association, Missouri Health Advocacy Alliance and Missouri Area Health Education Centers. In addition to his role with ATSU and MCOH, French also serves on the board of directors of the Missouri Rural Health Association and board of trustees of the National Rural Health Association.
