McManis is FutureBuilders finalist

Michael A. McManis, Ph.D., vice president for planning, is the Region 3 Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) FutureBuilders finalist. FutureBuilders is the non-profit education foundation of the MSBA. It’s goal is to improve public education through research, resources, and responsibility.
Dr. McManis served on the Kirksville R-III School Board for nine years, three years as vice president and three years as president. During his tenure on the board, the Kirksville district maintained “Accreditation with Distinction” for 10 consecutive years.
“Dr. McManis is passionate about education at all levels and is a tireless advocate for the children of our community,” said Patrick Williams, superintendent of the Kirksville R-II School District.
