Magic in music

D.H.Ed. student and musician Brian Little created and sings with the band StapleHead, a name deriving from a car crash that resulted in the aforementioned staples.

Influenced by bands such as Jane’s Addiction, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Ozzy Osbourne, Little has published four CDs.

It’s a “love of music, poetry, and stream of consciousness that drives this venture,” says Little, who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, a master’s from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing of California. He is expected to graduate from SHM in February 2011.

“Writing is therapeutic. Making music is magical. It is a form of free expression and release.”
