Longtime ATSU-KCOM faculty member passes away

Dr. Jack Julyan

Frederick John“Jack” Julyan, PhD, former A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic professor and chair, anatomy, passed away May 24, 2013, at age 86 in Colorado Springs, Co.

On June 1, 1975, Dr. Julyan joined ATSU-KCOM  where he taught until his retirement on June 30, 1992. Among his awards and leadership positions, he was presented the A.T. Still Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1987, and was  a former president of the Missouri Anatomical Board.

Dr. Julyan is remembered fondly by his former students and colleagues.
