On August 21, ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine‘s newest class of 172 medical students participated in the Induction and White Coat Ceremony. The class of 2014 received their white doctor’s coats at the ceremony, held in Baldwin Hall Auditorium at Truman State University. The White Coat ceremony was established in 1996 and impresses upon first-year students the significance and symbolism of wearing a white doctor’s coat.
