Gateway Bank supports Smile Forward program

Gateway Bank has donated $1,000 to support Smile Forward, a community-based program from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) that provides dental and oral healthcare for children and adults with little or no dental insurance benefits.

“We work with multiple dental practices across the Valley and have a clear understanding of the need out there,” said Gateway Bank President & CEO, James Christensen.  “It’s a privilege to help the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in providing this service to disadvantaged individuals in our own backyard.”

Gateway Bank offers full-service personal and business banking services and has a specialized focus on dental practices in the Valley. “Our small-town values and passion for serving the community drive everything we do,” Christensen added.

Since 2007, Smile Forward has helped 1,046 adults, children, veterans, individuals with special needs and seniors gain access to oral care. Patients receive care at four university-affiliated community clinics in Mesa and Glendale.
