Dr. Thomas Hill guest speaker at Still Healthy seminar

Tom Hill, PhD, author of Living at the Summit, and co-author of the companion workbook Life Plan and Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur’s Soul, gave two presentations as part of the ATSU Still Healthy Lifestyle series on the Missouri campus.

Dr. Hill was in public education for 26 years and at the age of 50 left the University of Missouri, where he was a professor and administrator, to pursue an entrepreneurial career in real estate sales. He sold his share of real estate franchises in 1999 with $3 billion in sales and now spends his time and energy giving back what he learned.

In the daytime Still Healthy seminar, Dr. Hill discussed his study of what he termed successful individuals — successful in becoming the best person possible in five areas called the Circle of Life, namely spiritual physical, relational, emotional, and professional.  “You will note that money is not one of the five,” said Dr. Hill. “Your focus should be on becoming the very best person you can become with the God-given talents and capacity you were born with. Money is a byproduct.”

In the evening seminar, Dr. Hill spoke on Your Next Step to Designing Your Exceptional Life. As he shared with the group, “One goal, well executed, could change your life forever.”

Dr. Hill sends out his weekly blog, Eaglezine every Friday. If you would like to receive Eaglezine, visit www.tomhillinstitute.com or email info@tomhillinstitute.com.
