Dr. Snyder Valier named NATA Fellow

Alison Snyder Valier, PhD, ATC, ATSU-Arizona School of Health Sciences, has been named a Fellow of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). Dr. Snyder Valier is a BOC-certified and state-licensed athletic trainer, serves as associate professor of interdisciplinary health sciences, director, Center for Clinical Outcomes Studies, and assistant director of research support through research, grants, and information technology systems.
The NATA Fellows program was developed to recognize professional achievement in research and/or education, combined with service to the profession. Only the most accomplished scholars in the athletic training profession earn this distinction and are allowed to use the prestigious designation of “FNATA.” By applying for and gaining Fellows status, NATA members pledge their continued commitment to the athletic training profession and the association.
