Dr. Danielsen presents on New York City dental panel

Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA, director of the Doctor of Medical Science program and director of A.T. Still University’s (ATSU) Center for the Future of the Health Professions, participated in an interprofessional panel on oral health at the New York City Dental Society meeting on Dec. 4, 2019.
The group discussed the importance of nurses, physician assistants, dental hygienists, dental therapists, and other non-dentists as essential to improving oral and overall health in the U.S.
Other panel participants were Judi Haber, RN, NP; Erin Hartnett, RN, NP; Anne Battrell, RDH; and Drew Christianson, MDT. The panel was led by Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH, dean emeritus of ATSU’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
