Design ideas sought for University mascot
Posted: May 20, 2013The University Student Association (USA) is seeking design ideas to revive the A.T. Still University school mascot, the “Ram of Reason”. Two contests will be held, one to choose the design of the new ram, and the other to name the new mascot.
Rules:
- The contest is open to all ATSU students, faculty and staff (Missouri, Arizona, and Online).
- The mascot must remain a ram.
- All art work must be completely original.
- Hand-drawn or computer-generated images are both acceptable as long as the work is completely original. (If hand-drawn, please scan and submit in a file with minimum 300 dpi.)
- All rights to the image must be signed over to A.T. Still University. The University reserves the right to alter the design.
- The winner of the design contest will receive a prize package that promises to make it worth the effort plus receive the first apparel item with the ATSU mascot.
- Submissions must be uploaded to the ATSU Mascot website at: https://sites.google.com/a/atsu.edu/mascot/
- Deadline for submission: Friday, May 31, 2013
- Design voting: June 3-7, 2013
- Naming voting: June 10-14, 2013
- Winning design and name will be announced by July 1, 2013.
Designs will be compiled by the University Student Association, and voting will be open to the ATSU community. Along with a vote for the design, you will be asked to submit a name for the new mascot.
Once a design is chosen, the best names will be compiled, and voting will once again be opened up. The winning design and name will be submitted to ATSU administration for final approval.
