Danielsen inducted into Soda Springs HS Hall of Fame

ATSU dean one of only six alumni ever to receive award

MESA, Ariz. (Mar. 8, 2007) – Randy Danielsen, Ph.D., PA-C, dean of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), was recently inducted to the Soda Springs High School Hall of Fame. Dr. Danielsen attended high school in Soda Springs, Idaho, from 1963-1967 and is one of only six alumni to ever receive the honor.

In order to be considered for the Hall of Fame, an alumnus must have achieved extraordinary success in one or more facets of life, set a high standard for future students, and exemplified continuing excellence. An eight-member committee screens nominations and reviews applications annually.

“ATSU prides itself on attracting some of the best leaders in education and healthcare,” said Craig Phelps, D.O., FAOASM, provost of A.T. Still University’s Mesa Campus. “Dr. Danielsen exemplifies the standards set by our institution and his induction into the SSHS Hall of Fame is both appropriate and well-deserved.”

A.T. Still University has seen tremendous growth and development in Mesa since 1995. It is the home of the Arizona School of Health Sciences and Arizona’s only dental school, the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. In July 2007, ATSU will open the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, Arizona’s third medical school. For more information about ATSU, its schools, and programs, visit www.atsu.edu.
