D.P.T. students present research findings

Third-year doctor of physical therapy students Sara Lehmann, Mari Okada, and Danielle Rosen presented preliminary findings of the study “Predicting Quality of Life in Healthy, Community- Residing, Older Adults” at the Arizona Geriatric Society’s 22nd Annual Fall Symposium. The study is a collaborative project between Kathryn Brewer, PT, of Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, and the ATSU Physical Therapy program.

Lead ATSU investigators on the study are Cecelia Sartor-Glittenberg, PT, M.S., NCS, associate professor, physical therapy, and Curt Bay, chair, ATSU-Mesa Institutional Review Board. The purpose of the study is to investigate six physical health-related factors that may be associated with quality of life in community-residing older adults.
