Congratulations, doctors!

A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) held its annual commencement ceremony on May 18, 2013. The class of 2013 is ATSU-KCOM’s 177th graduating class.

The ceremony was held on Truman State University’s campus, preceded by a Military Commissioning Ceremony. This year, 176 students graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and seven with a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree. The class represented 30 states and seven countries.

J.D. Polk, DO, MS, MMM, CPE, FACOEP, ’93, was commencement speaker. Dr. Polk serves as principal deputy assistant secretary for health affairs and deputy chief medical officer for the Department of Homeland Security.
