Barbecue for breast cancer is big success

NOWPA raises money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The National Osteopathic Women Physician’s Organization (NOWPA) held its annual Barbecue for Breast Cancer in January at Wrong Daddy’s night club in downtown Kirksville, Mo. Food, games, prizes, and live entertainment were provided by the School House Rock band and ATSU-KCOM’s class of 2011. The event was a huge success; more than 200 people attended and more than $2,500 was raised for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
