Audiology student awarded scholarships
Posted: August 19, 2010Jessica Richardson, Au.D. ’12, was the recipient of two scholarship awards this summer. Richardson was the winner of the Starkey Hearing Foundation 2010 William F. Austin Scholarship. The scholarship awards up to $10,000 to be directed toward tuition. The American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF) awarded Richardson $1,000 from the AAAF Roger Ruth Memorial Scholarship program.
Both awards are based on her excellent academic record, recommendations, and her clearly articulated professional aspirations.
“I feel honored and blessed to have been selected to receive these scholarships,” says Richardson. “I will always be grateful to the many wonderful professors here at A.T. Still University who have mentored me and provided me with an excellent education. I look forward to representing the University and the field of audiology as a doctor of the profession and hope to make a difference in the lives of my future patients.”
