ATSU’s Arizona campus celebrates Diversity Day
Posted: May 5, 2015
On Friday, May 1, the Arizona campus celebrated its inaugural Diversity Day event.
The special event brought student, faculty and staff together to embrace the University’s diverse culture through different activities. Hosted by the Cultural Competency in Education Committee (CCEC), participants enjoyed world music and entertainment and had the opportunity to discover the many clubs that support and bring awareness to diversity at ATSU.
“I was really elated with Diversity Day, especially with the student involvement,” said Art Davalos-Matthews, MA, mental health counselor at ATSU. “Without them, we truly could not have done it.”
