On Tuesday, March 28, The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) at A.T. Still University (ATSU) hosted a celebration of Holi, the Hindu festival of colors. Nearly 50 students participated in the event, which was held on the sprawling lawns of ATSU’s Arizona campus.
Holi is a two-day Hindu festival, held in India to mark the arrival of spring and celebrate the triumph of good over evil. The playful celebration involves throwing colored powders and splashing water on one another.
APAMSA is a national organization comprised of medical and pre-medical students committed to addressing the unique health needs of Asian and Pacific Islander communities in America.
