ATSU student organization to host Fun Run

All proceeds from 28th annual event will support Victim Support Services

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (Feb. 21, 2006 ) – The Student Associates’ Auxiliary (SAA) of A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) will be hosting the 28th Annual Fun Run on April 8, 2006. The event features options for all ages and fitness levels, including a 5K/10K run and a 1-mile fitness walk/run. All proceeds from the event will benefit Victim Support Services.

Currently, participants may register and receive an early registration discount. Early registration is $12, and registrations received after April 5 will be charged $14. Each participant in the race will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. Beverages and snacks are provided, as well as on-site medical assistance, free babysitting, and massage by the Integrative Wellness Institute in Kirksville. Trophies and prizes will be given to the top female and male finishers for both race distances. Medallions will be given to the top three finishers in all divisions. Prizes include free airline tickets, a one-night stay at a local bed & breakfast, an ATSU-KCOM hoodie, and much more.
