ATSU recognized by AHA as Fit-Friendly worksite

The American Heart Association (AHA) recently recognized ATSU as an organization that achieved its Gold level Fit-Friendly Worksite Recognition for July 2012-June 2013. This is a huge accomplishment which reflects the hard work and commitment to improving ATSU employees’ health.
According to the AHA, in the 11-state AHA Midwest Affiliate region 258 worksites were recognized, which impacts over 474,000 employees.
“The American Heart Association recognizes corporate work places that create an environment and culture that supports employee health and fitness,” said Dan Martin, MA, director, ATSU Wellness Programs. “Our Human Resources Still-Healthy promotion and campus fitness facilities are a great fit with the goals and objectives of the AHA Fit-Friendly Worksite recognition program.”
