ATSU provides medical services at local karate tournament

A.T. Still University’s physician assistant (PA) students provided the emergency medical services at a local karate tournament, supporting the non-profit ASO/USA Karate program serving students and adults from across Arizona. This is the fourth year that ATSU’s PA program has provided first aid and injury care services for USA Karate Arizona ASO. USA Karate Arizona is a nonprofit corporation that is the approved sports organization in Arizona for USA Karate. USA Karate is the national governing body for the United States Olympic Committee and the World Karate Federation.
