Posted: February 13, 2025
A.T. Still University (ATSU) held its annual Faculty and Staff Recognition & Award Ceremony on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus on Feb. 6, 2025.
The 2024 Distinguished Service Award was presented to Jamie Carroll, BFA, senior graphic artist. The Annual Distinguished Service Award was created to recognize an employee who displays exceptional service to ATSU. Nominees must have a minimum of 10 years cumulative service to the University and display extraordinary dedication, service above self, a strong work ethic, and a positive outlook.
ATSU peers nominate candidates for final selection. A committee comprised of former recipients makes the final selection from all nominees. The award recipient receives a plaque and a monetary gift.
Nominators said Carroll consistently goes above and beyond in every project he takes on, demonstrating his commitment to excellence. His ability to transform ideas into something visually stunning is a gift, and his contributions bring immense value to the university.
Additionally, Carroll’s insightful questions and guidance consistently lead to a clearer vision and help colleagues communicate more effectively. And it is always done without ego and with a focus on the success of others.
