ATSU makes a difference with denimPosted: October 7, 2011
In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, ATSU faculty and staff donated money and slipped into their favorite pair of jeans for Lee National Denim Day on Oct. 7.
Both the Missouri and Arizona campuses participated, donating more than $800 toward the cause.
Lee National Denim Day is one of the largest single-day fundraisers for breast cancer. Millions of people nationwide donated to the cause in an effort to bring together world-class scientists to develop an early detection blood test; to find less toxic, more effective treatments for breast cancer patients; and to fund the Cancer Support Community.
