ATSU lab technician becomes one of nine certified simulation technicians in Missouri

Congratulations, Rob Long, AAS, lab technician for ATSU’s Missouri campus Drabing Human Patient Simulation Center. Long completed Laerdal Corporation’s specialized training for 3G simulators on Aug. 18, 2016, becoming a certified simulation technician. The only certified technician within an osteopathic university, one of nine in the state of Missouri, and one of 123 in the United States and Canada, Long will be able to conduct annual and emergent maintenance on the University’s 3G simulators and ensure the simulators are operating at peak performance for medical education learning experiences.
