Barry Masin, OMS IV, won first place for his poster presentation at the Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeon’s (AMOPS) annual conference in Orlando, Florida this March.
Masin, a former Marine Corps Captain and current student at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM), created a poster presentation discussing his insights on a diving decompression sickness and treatment case study he worked on in the field during his time at the Navy Diving School.
AMOPS accepted Masin’s research presentation, allowing him to compete for the award as one of 40 finalists in the case report or series division at their national annual research symposium.
