ATSU-KCOM alumna honored by Washington Academy of Family Physicians

A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine alumna Katheryn Norris, DO, ’02, has been named Family Medicine Educator of the Year by the Washington Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP).
Dr. Norris is a physician at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic Grandview Medical-Dental Clinic, and is director of medical education and residency for Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency Program, both of Grandview, Washington.
“We are proud to call the WAFP Family Medicine Educator of the Year one of our own,” said Kevin Heidrick, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic chief medical officer. “She has been influential in the Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency with her remarkable mentorship and leadership. She truly deserves this honor.”
The award recognizes individuals for excellence in teaching, development of innovative teaching models, or implementation of outstanding educational programs.
