ATSU-KCOM alum installed as Texas ACOFP president

Daniel V. Freeland, DO, ’89, was recently appointed as president of the Texas chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) at their annual meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas. The ACOFP is a professional medical association that represents more than 20,000 practicing osteopathic family physicians, residents, and students throughout the United states.
Its mission is to promote excellence in osteopathic family medicine through quality education, visionary leadership, and responsible advocacy. Dr. Freeland graduated from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989. He currently serves in private family practice in Austin, Texas. Congratulations to Dr. Freeland!
