ATSU-CGHS alumna recognized by American Academy of Physician Assistants

Alkiesha Collins, DHSc, ’17, PA-C

A.T. Still University-College of Graduate Health Studies’ (ATSU-CGHS) alumna Alkiesha Collins, DHSc, ’17, PA-C, was recently recognized as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

A graduate of ATSU-CGHS’ Doctor of Health Sciences program, Dr. Collins currently practices internal medicine in Camino Division at Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group in California. She has been a physician assistant (PA) for 13 years.

According to a press release from AAPA, Dr. Collins earned recognition “due to her outstanding contributions to patient care and the profession during her 13 years as a PA-C. She also demonstrated significant dedication and involvement in the community throughout California.” 

AAPA’s Distinguished Fellow program was established in 2007 to recognize exceptional contributions of PAs to the profession.
