ATSU-CGHS alum inducted into NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle

Melanie J. Davis, DHEd, ’13, interim director, Office of Assessment & Accreditation for A.T. Still University (ATSU), was inducted into the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) VIP Woman of the Year Circle. The NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women with over 850,000 members and 200 local chapters. Dr. Davis was recognized for her prestigious distinction for leadership in education. “I’m pleased to welcome Melanie into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.” In addition to her responsibilities at ATSU, Dr. Davis is also involved with the Association for Institutional Research and Rocky Mountain Association for Institutional Research. She also is a staunch advocate of charitable organizations such as the Red Cross, Victim Support Services, Salvation Army, Rotary Club, and many more. Dr. Davis earned her doctorate in health education from ATSU’s College of Graduate Health Studies in 2013. Congratulations to Dr. Davis!
