ATSU-ASHS Audiology adjunct faculty member receives Canadian Academy of Audiology award

Rex Banks, AuD, ’15

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) alumnus and adjunct faculty member Rex Banks, AuD, ’15, is this year’s recipient of the Moneca Price Humanitarian Award from the Canadian Academy of Audiology. 

Dr. Banks, an adjunct assistant professor with ATSU-ASHS Post-Professional Doctor of Audiology program, received the award which is presented to an audiologist in recognition of extraordinary humanitarian and community service.

Dr. Banks received the award for his exemplary career as an audiologist and support to audiologists in Canada and internationally as a teacher, innovator, volunteer, and dedicated advocate. 

This is Dr. Banks’ third industry award in recent years. He was previously named Audiologist of the Year by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, and received the Professional Leadership Award from ATSU’s Post-Professional Doctor of Audiology Program.
