ATSU-ASDOH receives product donation grant
Posted: April 17, 2013A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) announced that it has received oral healthcare product donations valued at up to $25,000 as a grant from Henry Schein Cares, the global social responsibility program of Henry Schein, Inc. ATSU-ASDOH will continue to receive product donations over the next two years. Henry Schein Cares helps to expand access to healthcare for underserved and at-risk populations around the world in the areas of wellness and prevention; emergency preparedness and relief; and capacity building.
“Our participation in the Henry Schein Cares program will enable ATSU-ASDOH to more effectively carry out our mission and expand our ability to provide care to the underserved,” said ATSU-ASDOH Dean Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH.
The products donated by the Henry Schein Cares grant will be used in ATSU-ASDOH’s Smiles Over Miles program which provides oral healthcare to patients who are homebound, in nursing homes and in hospice, and the Dental Outreach for Rural Arizona program which provides care to low-income seniors and children.
