Andrew Dugum, DMD, ’19, alumnus of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH), and Rong Zeng, D4 at ATSU’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH), recently participated in the Dentsply Sirona Student Clinician Research Competition. The prestigious international student research competition was held in Vancouver, British Columbia as part of the International Association for Dental Research meeting. Every dental school in the U.S. sent one student to the competition, as did many international schools.
“The ATSU community is very proud that both ATSU-ASDOH and ATSU-MOSDOH have students participate in this international student research competition each year,” says Ann Eshenaur Spolarich, PhD, RDH, FSCDH, professor and director of research at ATSU-ASDOH. “Their participation is a wonderful example of the growing student engagement in research activities at our university.”
