ATSU-ASHS alumnus retires from teaching in APA program

Elliott Charrow, MS, PA-C, ‘02, adjunct professor in the Advanced Physician Assistant (APA) program in A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), announced his retirement after teaching Occupational Medicine and Family Medicine for over 15 years.

Charrow began teaching in APA in 2002. He announced his retirement at this year’s ATSU-ASHS graduation on Friday, Aug. 5. During the ceremony, Bert Simon, DHSc, Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, recognized Charrow with a plaque, and Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C emeritus, Dean of ATSU-ASHS, presented Charrow with a signed print of the ATSU-ASHS 20th Anniversary painting.

“Elliott has made a significant impact on our APA students,” Dr. Danielsen says. “His smile and constant professionalism has made a huge difference in the education of our post professional students.”
