ASHS alumnus publishes textbook

Athletic trainer and physician assistant program alumnus Ian McLeod recently published a textbook, Swimming Anatomy. The text, which was published by Human Kinetics, is an illustrated guide for swimming strength, speed, and endurance.

McLeod was an athletic trainer treating swimmers in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, and is currently an orthopedic physician assistant in Phoenix. “Ian McLeod is one of the most intelligent minds in swimming,” said Keenan Robison, University of Michigan athletic trainer. “He demonstrates how to care for swimmers both in and out of the water, making Swimming Anatomy an essential resource for anyone involved in competitive swimming.”
