Annual Oral Cancer Walk marks success!

On April 6, ATSU-ASDOH students provided 36 oral cancer screenings at the annual Oral Cancer Walk held in Scottsdale, Ariz.
AJ Proctor, D2; Sally Ortega, D3; Nadia El-Hillal, D3; Julia Allen, D3; Irina Nenova, D3; Raphael Putrus, D3; Molly Ericson, D3; Amanda Serrano, D3; Karen Falone, ATSU-ASDOH faculty, all helped lead the charge to healthier mouths. Students had the opportunity to interact with oral cancer survivors and provide information to participants on the importance of oral cancer screenings.
Oral cancer screenings were provided by ATSU-ASDOH dental students and faculty at the end of the walk. Thank you to those who supported this event by walking and/or making a donation to the Oral Cancer Foundation!
